Clinic Services

Spinal Correction: This involves making specific structural corrections to the spine, utilizing spinal adjustments and physiotherapy. The time and amount of correction varies with each individual, and is determined by a number of factors including examination and X-ray findings

Massage Therapy: We provide massage/muscle therapy following each treatment. This therapy is performed on specific muscle groups, determined by the doctor, as an adjunct to the adjustment. The purpose is to break up muscle adhesions, increase flexibility and circulation, reduce trigger points, and assist the patient in achieving a faster recovery.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation: Treating and rehabilitating the injuries to athletes, particularly the injuries to the extremities (wrists, shoulders, ankles, etc.) There are many subluxations (misalignments of joints) that exist outside the spine. By adjusting and correcting these, along with strengthening the surrounding musculature, it allows the athlete to perform to their full potential.

Auto/Work Accidents: These accidents often result in damage to the spine and surrounding structures. Whiplash can occur in the neck in a 5-10 mph rear end collision. Often the injuries are not initially apparent. It is best to be treated immediately after an accident to avoid any healing delays. Work accidents contribute significantly to lost productivity and wages. Chiropractic care helps both of these patients heal and return to work much more quickly.

Physiotherapy: We will often use adjunct therapies in the form of therapeutic stretching/ strengthening, muscle therapy, and posture and balance modalities to assist with the adjustment and improve the patients overall outcome. Research indicates that this more “active” approach to care results in the patient healing and stabilizing faster.

Family/Children Care: Since we are a family practice, it is the doctors’ recommendation that all family members get checked for subluxations. Subluxations can occur at any age, beginning with the birth process, childhood falls, sports injuries, posture at work/school, etc. If found and treated early, it can save you a lot of suffering in the end.

Preventative Care: Once a patient has stabilized and or achieved correction, we recommend that patients continue on a preventative/ wellness basis (1-2 x mo.). The purpose of this is to periodically check the patient for subluxations and correct them before the patient presents with symptoms such as pain, numbness/tingling or weakness. If a patient waits for symptoms to occur they may need to be seen more frequently.

X-ray On Site: We have x-ray facilities conveniently located in the clinic, so you do not have to go elsewhere to take x-rays. Dr. Boardman personally develops and reviews all films.

Computerized Testing: In order to objectively diagnose your condition we utilize a number of different computerized tests, such as: Range of Motion, Strength Testing, Work Simulation Tests, and Surface EMG. This state of the art equipment allows us to provide you with the basis for the best treatment and outcomes.

Walk-ins Always Welcome! Although we are a busy clinic, we are always available to accommodate our walk-in patients. Give us a call or drop by today to see how we can improve your overall health.

Little to no Waiting: We pride ourselves on getting our patients seen and treated as fast as possible. The average time in and out of our office is 25-30 minutes. Your time is valuable and we do not want you waiting 30 or 45 minutes to see the doctor.
